Quick & Easy Kid-Friendly Desserts

If you’re running out of ideas to keep the kids entertained and going out is out of the question thanks to our extremely wet weather of late, head to the kitchen! We’ve got some pretty cool recipes you can make with your kids and they will love it!

Pumpkin Pie Bites

Not quite traditional in this part of the world but this is a great option if you’re looking at trying something new with kids. The sweet pumpkin filling and flaky crust is a wonderful combination to try out. You could always swap out the pumpkin filling for something more familiar if you prefer.

Christmas Cake Pops

My sons LOVE cake pops. They’re such an easy recipe to try out and the kids can really get creative with their decorating. And which child doesn’t love smushing things up and rolling it into balls? Fantastic for any party.

Five Classic Cookies

My favourite. Chocolate chip cookies. Use good quality chocolate and the cookies will almost always come out a winner. Unused cookie dough can be kept frozen until your next craving.

Traffic Light Popsicles

Healthier than regular popsicles and so fun to make. You can get crazy creative here with different fruit options. Try putting in some Jello for an interesting texture.

Jello Cupcakes

You know those super scrumptious jelly-filled doughnuts? Well, these are the cupcake versions. So easy, so yummy, so sinful. The kids will have such fun mixing up and pouring the Jello over.

Enjoyed this? We think you’ll love these too.
