Mum Crush: Yiota Kouzoukas

By Oriella Onni
February 21, 2018

This week’s mum crush is Yiota Kouzoukas, a Greek Australian fashion designer and part owner of the exclusive label, Sabo Skirt.

Yiota, along with her best friend turned sister-in-law, Thessy Kouzoukas started a fashion blog showcasing their daily outfits and style while still in university. It was a hit with the readers and many wanted to know where they could purchase the pieces. The two saw this as a business opportunity to start an online store for their readers to directly purchase pieces that they love.

A year later, Sabo Skirt was born.

Sabo Skirt has more than a million followers on Instagram, featured in New York Fashion Week and their outfits have been worn by celebrities like Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Gigi Hadid and the Kardashians.

Yiota got married to George Kouzoukas in 2011 and together they welcomed a baby boy, Connor George Kouzoukas on 17 January 2018. During her pregnancy, many of her followers were amazed by the fact that her bump was so small. She later revealed to them that because she went through endometriosis surgeries in the past and with the tilt of her uterus and her naturally taut stomach – made her pregnancy pretty unnoticeable.

Stylish, fashionable and hot, let’s take a look at her Instagram @Yiota.
