How about spending the last moments of 2016 up in the air, in a cable car that is? The Singapore Cable Car Sky Network will be operating until the wee hours and the Faber Peak station from which it departs will have its own set of fireworks display that you can view up close from inside the cable car. You will also be able to see the other fireworks in the Sentosa vicinity. Don’t hesitate on making your reservation though as there are only 30 cabins.

If taking thrilling rides all way till midnight strikes is your family’s thing, then Universal Studios Singapore countdown party is the place to be for you. Celebrate 2017: Countdown with the Stars

Welcome the new year at what will be the largest countdown street party in Singapore at Suntec City, where there will be seven hours of non-stop entertainment from close to 40 artistes including Gentle Bones, Tay Kewei and Najip Ali.

Fireworks lovers will not want to miss out on the stunning midnight display by the water. The countdown to 2017 at Marina Bay includes an animation sequence projected on The Fullerton Hotel and is accompanied by music, lasers and assorted lights to welcome the new year. And when you are done, don’t forget to browse through the Marina Waterfront Bazaar, where there are unique collectibles and handcrafted items for sale.
