Dad Crush Monday: Jensen Ackles

If you haven’t been following Supernatural star Jensen Ackles on social media, you’ve been missing out! The family-oriented actor seems to live the epitome of the picture perfect life — drop dead gorgeous looks, rising star, beautiful wife, adorable daughter and an enviable bromance with his co-stars. It’s no wonder he’s our dad crush of the week. Let’s take a closer look at why we think he rocks:

Jensen started out as a child model, before moving into acting. Since then, he has had guest roles in Sweet Valley High and Smallville, joined the cast of Dawson’s Creek and won a Daytime Emmy Award for his role in Days of Our Lives before joining the cast of Supernatural (which is now in its twelfth season).

The dreamy actor has a bromance going on with his co-stars Mischa Collins and Jared Padalecki, with both often appearing on his social media accounts. (More eye candy for us!)

Jensen married One Tree Hill actress Danneel Harris in May 2010 and the pair have a three year old daughter, Justice Jay (JJ) Ackles.

The actor is thoroughly enjoying fatherhood. His co-star Jared is also a father so the kids are often pictured playing together, with JJ even referring to Jared’s boys as “my boys”:
