Arguably one of the most successful Mandopop singers in the region, Jay Chou was linked to various artistes before settling down with model-actress Hannah Quinlivan and fathering daughter Hathaway with her. On Valentine’s Day 2017, they announced that they were expecting their second child.

Taking a break from music, the Mandopop singer had a quiet year in 2017, but he and his lovely wife welcomed their second child, son Romeo

The heartthrob will have his movie “The Secret” made into a musical incorporating his hits and will run at the Marina Bay Sands Theatre from 6-15 April 2018.

We thick the cutest moment he’s had on his instafeed is a twinning moment he had with his daughter, Hathaway. We would love to see more twinning moments from Jay and his children! @jaychou

前面的路不管如何 都會陪著你走????哇 真肉麻????????

Most of us would have grown up listening to Jay Chou’s songs. After all, it is easy to identify with his signature melancholic lyrics and rhythms and we’re sure that they’ve accompanied many of us through heartbreaks and tough times in life.

But beyond music, the superstar has also made his mark as an actor in Hollywood, playing parts in The Green Hornet, and most recently, he was in Now You See Me 2 and DreamWork’s animation film Kungfu Panda 3.

Not content with singing and being in front of the camera, the multi-talented Jay has dabbled in work behind the scenes as well, directing feature films Secret and The Rooftop, and producing 10,000 Miles, a film that was directed by Taiwan-born, Los Angeles-based director Simon Hung.

As if all that wasn’t enough, Jay expanded his empire with his own streetwear label Phantaci, which opened an outlet in Singapore last year.

There’s no doubt that Jay is a tremendously well-rounded entertainer and businessman! However, in recent years, he also became a family man.

Who could forget the amazing wedding party that was thrown in January 2015 when he and Hannah Quinlivan got married? It took place in a castle in Yorkshire, England because Chou’s idea of a dream wedding is a romantic one in an old castle. Judging from the photos, it was certainly a celebration to remember.

Fatherhood came soon after and in July 2015, little Hathaway was born. Looking at the plethora of sweet, fatherly photos of the protective dad and his little one, we dare say he’s wearing the fatherhood hat just as well as his entertainer’s hat.
