By Samantha Jong
August 8, 2016

Aaron Aziz may come from humble beginnings but armed with some serious acting chops, the former waiter is currently one of the hottest personalities gracing the TV screens in Singapore and Malaysia. This family man’s determination to succeed coupled with his big heart is why this homegrown actor and director has been chosen as our Dad Crush of the week. Read on to find out more about him:

His photos on Instagram are often that of his family, showing the strong, envious bond they have and how close they are.

After a visit to MOSH!:

Celebrating Hari Raya:

Visiting the Singapore Zoo:

Aaron started his career with local dramas and sitcoms and in 2013 was the first Asian actor to get his very own E! Entertainment special about his life. He now shuttles between Singapore and Malaysia but doesn’t let that hamper his abilities to be around for his family.

It is very evident that his children mean a lot to him and that he dotes on them a lot even being quoted as saying “a daughter will always be a daddy’s girl”. He also referred to his children as a gift and that they should be never treated as a burden. His two daughters Dahliah and Dwi and son Danish sure are lucky!

His gorgeous wife Diyana — whom he affectionately refers to as Dar — is never far from his mind:

Heard that she's sick. Hope you feel better soon Dar @diyanahalik Miss you too Dar. #aaronazizfamily

The kind man is also down-to-earth and humble. He does not forget his employees’ birthdays:

He supports charities and is an avid supporter of the Malaysian Make-A-Wish foundation:

Kind-hearted and easy on the eyes, we look forward to seeing more of this man on our screens at home!
